Works great, I just don't care much for dealing with scope shadow and eye relief, and I live in the suburbs, so a red dot makes more sense. Plus it's trijicon, idk if I could break it if I wanted

For something cheaper that I used on a 308, I have this USNV 441 gen 3 autogated tube it comes with an IR IR illuminator as well that attaches to the other side not as versatile but you get a clean picture, and magnification

@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ look into Pennsylvania gunsmith school that’s the one I went to. There are a few others in the country also.

I don’t need a gunsmithing license to replace a few parts on a BCG.

You don't need a gunsmithing license to do anything... Even when you go to a school for you, you get a certificate of completion of the course to show you've taken initiative to potentially start a career or side gig as a gunsmith....
