Plant work? Sherburne WMA is the only free range I know of that is outdoors. Well, you technically need a fishing or hunting license, but they never actually check anyone from my experience.
Sounds like that would be the move, then. What kind of guys we got here in the LA gaggle? I'm a chef & outdoorsman. Limited experience with anything except small and medium unit tactics, if I'm being frank
I'm an amateur WWII historian, father is an ex marine. Spent lots of time studying military tales, confident in my effective use of defilades and direction aha. Also to boot, I'm probably younger than most of you
I'm a dependa, and Atropia veteran. Supply, so no true training there. When my skin isn't being retarded and helping me get fat, I just go shopting, dick around, get drunk, and... that's it really
I don't mind needles, while where at it can we find a way to rig an IV bag with THC? Also I have some technical training but have never had to apply my knowledge on an actual injury

@JackLAXXX
I wouldn’t attempt THC from a drip bag.
+1 on BR meetup. Around the NO area. I’ve got access to a few acres of land but it isn’t the best to train on. Too swampy to run any drills and there is a nature trail behind it about 500 yards back. Can’t shoot unless there is no one on the trail.
Also, once this quarantine shit is over with, I vote on a meetup for beers and figure out the details of property later. No offense, but I'd prefer to know someone a bit before taking my ass out to go shoot in the middle of nowhere and get fed gators lol
I'm in Church's AO been shooting for 13 years taking training courses in handgun, rifle and some team tactics since 2011 took a couple CCW specific trauma med classes started shooting USPSA 4 years ago
> Need me to communicate using a 1523? Trash. Call a 9 line? Trash. I essentially know basic CLS with a minor in blowing shit up
@Church
Yeah, we can fix that.
@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ you find a place I'm down hell I'd settle for dinner with a few igloo builders at this point the restaurants open back up this weekend
I get paid the 26/27th, so I'll talk to the wife about going out for a couple hours. Something I deal with is, like I told Redneck earlier, that I recently got psoriasis. So if I'm iffy on doing, that's why. Shits all over my face and crotch area, so sweating in general isnt fun
> I’m gonna make a private message group for us to discuss in. Say “I” if you want.
@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ got your FR. If you're having trouble with it, you could always end up in /k/'s weaponized chat. Alot smaller
We are looking at having an instructor teach a 2 day tactical handgun class in leesville hes charging 200 bucks for 2 days thats a steel for a 2 day class he's one ofnthe instructors for Leesville PD president of our USPSA club recommended him
Hello all. I don't think I've even bothered to introduce myself here.

Not sticking around long.
But willing to help out.
Have yall heard anything about us supposedly getting constitutional carry this year? It's been pushed back 2 years running now, but supposedly theres a good chance it could actually run its course this year
@Church I doubt it the State Police Association always lobbies against it because it would cut into a bunch of cops' side hustles teaching permit classes. Even if it passes you can't carry in any of the surrounding states because they don't have it. If you were military I think you either get your permit for free or at a discount Danny and Chris run their permit classes for 65 bucks including the notary stamps just get your permit If you're worried about being on some kind of list you were in the military and I'm sure you've bought something firearm related with a bank card at some point so you're already on every list the government has so why worry about it?
The worry isn't so much the thing. The bit of relief it would bring though, that if I actually had to use my firearm, knowing I'm not "illegally carrying" when being questioned. I've been carrying without forever. I took a permit class once back in 17, but I didnt follow through with turning in paperwork. I've not been to another class, because in all honesty, I dont leave state much, and the only state I've planned on visiting doesnt acknowledge CCLs from out of state (Cali). So it's a lose lose either way.
I can talk my way out of 90% of the problems I deal with in these little towns, but like I said, itd be nice to know theres less problems if i do have to draw and i get to keep the principal alive of not needing permission
@Church if you ever have a use of force and you're carrying illegally it will not be justifiable and you will go to jail I don't understand why someone is willing to risk destroying their life against 200 bucks and some paperwork.
Why give money to law enforcement that justifies giving them money to carry a firearm while police brutality is such a big hitter today. Or NRA instructors to hold the class and take that money while majorly misrepresenting firearm owners for greed?
Then pay a state government with proof I took an 8 hour class and fired 40 rounds through a handgun, just so they can further restrict my rights or squeeze more money out of me in taxes. Why is there a process in the first place just to determine if I can wisk my tshirt over a handgun that I paid for and have every right to do so with property I own?
We're out here fighting for the rights we should have had from the start, not fighting for us to get the rights we lost last week, ya know? Nothing in my mind justifies paying into a system that normally oppresses us, so we can sorta have a right I've been guaranteed to from birth
So you would rather just do without your rights then? The system exists to make you look at it and give up you're doing exactly what they want they never wanted you to carry so they created this system. I moved to Louisiana from Illinois carrying in any way even keeping a loaded gun in your vehicle was illegal so a class and some paperwork didn't seem like a big deal to me. 33 years ago concealed carry barely existed until Florida started the trend in 87 the classes and permits where the compromises that we had to make in order to get it legalized that lead to castle doctrine and stand your ground laws where would we be if we just sat around and cried saying our way or nothing? The CCW movement is probably responsible for keeping handguns legal their ubiquity led to the Heller and McDonnell rulings.
People cry about the NFA process yeah it sucks but again the government doesn't want you to own the suppressor so they lay down the hurdles hoping we will give up I want the advantages that suppressors offer so I play their game I've bought 4 cans in the time people I know have been waiting for the process to change we have tried to get the regs changed 3 times and all 3 times there was a mass shooting the same week we can sit around and cry about it or suck it up and deal with it because the rules are never going to change
