What about a category for those that speak a foreign language and those that want to learn?

Perhaps we should more clearly outline that ne wjoins MUST request a state/regional role within a set pwriod of time or be booted. And reinforce that the main goal is to network with those near you for meets/ further discussions. I'm not sure if its a problem but I'd like to see more activity in state chats as a sign that people are actually using this as the meeting forum it was intended and more than just a disparate grouping of Libery lovers posting at each other. Again, just an idea

To avoid the trolling in that server in the future, I’d suggest making a temp channel with members involved, that doesn’t let people not involved in.

We aren’t going to go person to person looking for who holds those views. But if someone starts getting vocal about it there will most likely be a problem. For example, if you go into a gay biker bar and start hurling insults, the owners of said bar have the right to refuse service and ban you from the premises. In that scenario, no-one violated your rights to speak freely. You just probably didn't like the consequences of said speech.

It's an interesting balance. We don't want speech restricted by government, but there's certain precautions we have to take in order to avoid having the server taken down, being pinned as terrorists by the media, or even have fbi agents show up at our doors. I've seen it happen. If you say too many hotwords, you'll get a knock at your door in the morning.

The first ammendment right to speak your mind is not a free pass to do so on others private property. In fact, it is freedom of expression that secures the right for a privately owned space to choose what speech they allow.

The 1A guarantees freedom from government intrusion.
