SC is nothing like Elite Dangerous. 110% completely different flight models, not to mention fully explorable planets and overall shit tons more to do. Elite Dangerous is literally a copy/paste of the same planet repeatedly. Both good games, but Elite is an arcade space shooter and SC is a space sim with unparalleled detail and TONS of development progress over the years. You need to remember, games take 5-7 years of development before they are even ANNOUNCED to come out in the next 4-5 years.

And also usually cost a LOT more money to build and aren't started in someone's basement.

Another big thing separating the two

Elite made the flight model more based on aircraft, so you actually feel more like you're dogfighting, whereas SC strives for a "realistic" space flight model

@🖤MaxDemone🖤 Exactly. Though I do miss their old flight model before they made it easy enough for anyone to fly. I miss when it was so difficult to fly that you'd black out every few seconds at first til you got the hang of it.
