If i had the funds to have a dedicated vehicle id have an armored toyota landcruiser. You can pick em up for around 10k as UN decommissioned. Efi for sure just because i dont do great work on a carburetor and modern efi systems are uber reliable. Probably not lifted. Maybe 2 inchs but definitely some aggressive tires and massive shocks to hold the armor.

So my 2011 silverados transmission miled out at 240k im putting a new transmission in her monday, my question is will that bring back the decent mpg I was getting when I first got the truck or would the motor have to be overhauled as well. I knkw both work together when it comes to mpg efficiency but my question is which is more a deciding factor in mpg?

If you wanna make a major improvement replace your upstream o2 sensors but it's only gonna net a couple mpg average
