At this point, multiple IFAKs sound like a good idea. Are your lad's trained with them?

Everyone is trained in emergency first aid but we've only got one dude who's legit, old 68W. I'm an avid woodsman so know a lot but still not nearly enough to save someone's life long term.

TQs are safe up to eight hours, so you're gucci.

Our 68W gave us all TQs, idk what brand they are right off the top of my head but I've heard good things about them throughout the community

I would like more TQs. TCCC says that if one doesn't stop the bleeding, two will.

I also got Celox hemostatic gauze. I'll use it to stuff and then a compression bandage over it.

Most of what I'm bringing is essentials. Water, food, etc. Medical supplies. Protective gear such as masks, umbrellas, thick vests. I'm debating bringing my rig with swimmers cut armor but unsure if I want to fiddle with it

I feel like this is the one time an armored vest would be useful. I don;t think you'll attract bad press if you wear big med patches.

I don't have med patches myself, although wouldn't be hard to fashion a red cross Armband or similar. My rig only has front plates but still better than nothing

oof. I think humanitarian is a fine thing to do, don't see why we would need secure comms for that. Even then, discord stores all of your logs for police, I'd recommend switching to something more secure.

You guys had my support in Ferguson protecting those businesses, but now the situation is much more violent and Nat guard is crawling all over the place. Security seems risky, but humanitarian aid is a noble cause and has my full support.
