So I have a kel tec 380 with one of those stupid clips installed on the side to clip to my belt. This gun does not have a safety but it has a heavy trigger pull because of it. I used to carry it with one in the chamber but I was driving down a country road when I hit a pot hole and my ass came up off the seat and when I landed the seatbelt clip went up under my belt and hit the trigger setting my gun off. After the discharge I jumped out of my car and looked and sure enough I had a though and through down the side of my thigh. I drove myself to the hospital and they patched me up. I only carry that gun because I work at a office that has a no weopons policy. I learned that if it’s isn’t a vital hit I could take a hit and still function fine just in pain and not to carry that gun chambered now I only use that gun for the office and never chambered

Anyone in the surrounding areas, there’s a protest planned for Wednesday morning. It’s already spread on social media. If anyone can attend that’ll help

I'd suggest wearing a collared shirt like a polo to keep the straps from rubbing your neck raw, preferably made out of a technical material so that it doesn't chafe like cotton and keeps you cool when you sweat.

Same thing with the cold. Dry cold isn't too bad but humid cold is a nightmare. Like snowboarding in Colorado when it was nice and dry but relatively cold. I was down to my T shirt
