I'm going to consider Lexington to be safe. The LPD is treating the crowds with respect and the protesters are self-policing. After someone threw a bottle into the police line, other protesters were trying to find the instigator.

Yes, we have been made aware of a scheduled protest organized by a group calling themselves Kentuckians For Change. They are posting on social media that they will be in Corbin Thursday through Saturday and then Middlesboro on Sunday (June 7th). Because of the location mentioned in the post (city hall), we have reached out to Mayor Nelson for comment on what is being promoted as a peaceful protest.

There's a protest in Brandenburg ky at 9 about a confederate monument. Huge redneck/fudd/bootlicker town, and people are already threatening to shoot protesters. Protesters are coming in from Louisville and the surrounding areas.

Just that they fired one of the officers, that's all I've seen

They’re not doing anything to the officers as of yet. One was fired and that’s it. 2 left. But the boarding of the courthouse was yesterday morning and into the afternoon.

In all seriousness tho.... who’s actually going to act if something more serious was to happen, am I the Only person that’s willing to drive and appear at events just to ensure we actually know what’s going on ? Is anyone else serious about actually meeting and training, going over routes, plans etc... is this a trend to some ? The lack of effort is astonishing for the state tbh.

The worst thing about acting is that even if it’s 110% justified and you’re out there literally saving lives and laying down fire the media spins it as extremists shooting at police. It’s highly unlikely it’ll spread like you think. It won’t be the first shot fired in Lexington starting the war. It’s highly unlikely that anyone comes for qrf because if they do it’s likely everyone involved will be overwhelmed and killed by national guard or swat elements. Really the best action is to watch and let the population gain support against the police and natty. Once they lose support from the people then you can expect it to pick up exponentially

Acting before or trying to get an electric slide going will end in an early death and condemnation by nearly everyone who sees it. Like that one guy who went out in full kit and tried to shoot up a court house or kill dozer

@BobTheBuilder I live in Central Arkansas but my friends and fam are all back in Central KY... I come home every few months to visit... I've only got 1 booger down here in Arkansas that I can trust and train with but he happens to be my firearms instructor so that's a bonus... When I come home next I'd be down to meet up with whoever would be around Central KY... When shit truly pops off I'll be heading back to hunker down with friends and fam in KY
