Going off of some stuff in #📣public-relations I'd be interested in forming a sort of non profit group focused on growing skills needed for dealing with disasters and helping others. A healthy focus on voluntaryism. Could host workshops on stuff like first aid or weapon maintenance.

So we're reopening here however there are "restrictions" that result in fines and legal action/johnny law strong arm if broken. So may be looking to get some stuff together in these parts if anyone is interested

Stillwater cops are sorta interesting actually. They act like hard asses but almost never bother people unless they're doing something really stupid like driving 60 in a 30

All Oklahoma cops that aren't from a major metropolitan area are usually chill, unless guns are involved

Doesn't have to be LE, the people may be acting more like the Hitler youth and not like the SS, but still occupied territory. I was turned away from business for no mask.

While the city supposedly took back their mask requirement, a lot of businesses probably still require it. They can do whatever with their own business as far as I'm concerned

The people tend to be a bit more left leaning here but it's a college town after all. Thankfully not nearly as bad as the people around OU, they're actually authoritarian left nutjobs

Business as usual in Cherokee county. A couple of businesses are enforcing an occupancy maximum but that's about it.
