We are currently waiting for a boots on ground scenario to happen. Thus far there is tons of talk and paperwork coming from the governor or whatnot, but until someone actually does a damned thing we are on standby. Has anyone tried those Remington black powder rifles? Apparently they’re sort of bolt action and can use pre-measured black powder charges. It’s called the Remington 700 Ultimate Muzzle Loader. Saw it a few years ago and thought it was pretty neat. Been thinking about it for getting into black powder, but might try something a little more in line with original muskets.

So don't worry about what shape you are in now. If you are interested let me know and I'll send you the links. We are constitutionalists, but that is the only overarching theme to the militia.
