It's more important to keep your friends than to align with them on everything

If they're ok with your views and don't call you names or try to impose themselves on you, it's better to just leave it alone

They will change their values towards you over time, just by hanging out

I agree to an extent. That nice lady I mentioned earlier, the advocate for abortion. She pretty much phased herself out of our friend group. There’s another guy who’s in the dm group who defended Biden and the laptop, but he doesn’t actually hang out with us so I don’t really consider him a friend. My closest friends agree with me, but can be total pussies when faced with adversary

One time I went to this church a bit further out to listen to my friend sing in the choir, and the priest had such an imposing presence, his authority radiated from him. And then he spoke about being loyal to our people and not selling out to foreigners. And then I see the priests in France and Britain saying only nice words for people who vandalize or burn churches
