I wont give any details at this time but we want to move away from that. We want to be united because while the revolution is part of American history this is the next revolution and should be new

The memes are a good entry point but should not entirely define the movement as they do now. We need a short term goal

I just am skeptical of flags being presented on my behalf. The Bonnie Blue is an excellent choice however both for what it symbolizes and its history

There's a lot going on behind the scenes. A flag is symbolic and very similar to how the American revolution has the flag with 13 stars on the field of blue and 13 stripes it needs to represent the country as a whole

It's been associated with Texans and other historical rebellions throughout history, because it has Scots-Irish roots more than southern ones and it stands alone on that field.

The Discord really helps in meeting people more than anything and the point of not using the word is to keep it up since there are so many people. We aren't planning a violent revolution as well. We want people to repeal unconstitutional laws. A war would not be good for anyone since Syria and Libya are prime examples of rapid government violent government change leading to mass death and harsh laws

Right, we're not, obviously, but this whole "your flags can't have historical resonance because those violent revolutions failed" thing sure smells of it

The link to join was open and shared across many Facebook sites this is open as can be. Which could hinder as typical counter group practices are to instill distrust in the group members and isolating people to feel they are the only reasonable one.
