Good morning one and all. Id like tontake this opportunity to share a thought I had. Please bare with me I'm known for being long winded. Over the past few nights, we here have been witness to history. Although many, if not all, of you are familiar with American history, it is something that was learned about in school and in books. We learned the story of the men and women who, despite the ability to ignore or tolerate tyranny decided that they would not, could not, allow it to continue without taking action. We heard and read stories of those immortal names who left the comfort of their homes to face danger. They gathered in town squares and stood against the might of the worlds Super power. They walked or rode sometimes hours from home to face the feared redcoats. Feared because they were all aware that those agents of the government could, and would murder any who apposed them. And even those who just got in the way. And feared because those in the red uniforms faced no punishment forntheir crimes. In fact, that was their job.

But these people, these average, normal, some would even say forgettable people, decided that they could not allow the lives of their countrymen to be ended without recompense. So they gathered and they fought. Now, im not comparing the protesters to american revolutionary hero's, but I am saying that the spirit that drove those men and women is alive and well today. And it is in you, all of you here, that it is most clearly alive. Because although you may or may not have gone out and walked the streets as the cities burned, you participated in history. You watched the live streams, reported the activities, monitored the scanners and some did in fact walk the streets were americans stood against the agents of the worlds super power once again. For despite the malicious actions of a few, that is what has been playing out in cities across this country. Men and women have decided that they can not live with themselves not standing against the tyranny of murderous men in uniforms. So I'm humbled and proud to be a part of a community that will make themselves uncomfortable in even small ways to stand and say "no more." And there are many who have done more than just be uncomfortable. There are those of you who went out and walked the streets of history as it was made. Now I don't know if these past night will be the beginning of the changes we all seek. But I do know with certainty that they will be recorded as one of the catalysts that sparks those changes. And you were there. And you participated. So take that knowledge and use it to remind yourself the next time you have the chance to participate that you have already taken the all important first step. And that from nkw on, when called to stand against tyrannical power, you are not on unfamiliar ground. This my friends, is how liberty is secured. By small actions of people who simply took a step out of their comfort zone to say "no more." Be safe. But never forget that you have
