Discord nukes who it's paid to nuke. The same people who ran the smear campaign against the liberty movement are probably the same ones who are actively paying platforms like discord to snitch for them

Exactly, which is why we as CLO are working to improve what we can do to build a community that’s safe, user friendly and somewhat secure. But that’s almost impossible to do to get all 3 together.

Unfortunately with what's avalible on the market you get two out of those three at best. on discord with the right moderation you get somewhat safe and user friendly but insecure as all hell. with one of my favorite services, RetroShare, you get safe and secure, but unless you're a computer nerd like me it's like trying to read hyrogliphs to most people

I guess a way of doing it is getting somebody to host a forum, but server upkeep is expensive. Plus then you have to worry about the ISP getting involved.

Aparently loving your fellow man and wanting everyone to be free means you're an alt right neo nazi or something.

Yeah according to some people, but when we say the truth, the real honest to god truth about what we believe, due to it not fitting their narrative, they will lie about us.

People generalize way too much in this day and age and people are easily influenced by the msm and let them think for them.

It’s hard also to remove people for them shitposting or spewing their opinions that don’t align with ours in anyway imaginable, because we’re a Liberty Movement, but at the same time, we are an organization within the movement so we get to set rules, a code of conduct, etc.

It’s a weird thing, honestly.

People who get banned from here spew some rhetoric about how it’s not true liberty if they’re not allowed to say XYZ and it’s laughable due to the fact that it’s not a right to be here, it s a privilege, and we aren’t some public entity, you play by our basic rules of basically “be a decent human being,” or you can be kicked/banned.

Where I see people taking it is that they think that anything they say or do will be seen as okay because they decide to post it under the flag of liberty. They seem to think that it means 'fuck you I'll say all the dumb shit I want in a public space and get mad when somebody asked me to stop'. Having structure is something that benifits a movement like ours especially when it comes to the public eye. How we conduct ourselves is how the public will see us.

Being organized isn't the antithesis of liberty, sometimes we gotta group up

I wish this didn't have to be established too, like it should be inherrent when thinking about our movement. Some may take up the mask of liberty and be bad people, but I believe that they are a small minority of idiots who don't know what they're talking about. The majority of people here I would assume are goodhearted people who want to stand up to tyrany and injustice.

I interact with a lot of people here. Most people know me really well from my news reporting or just shooting the shit in voice, I guarantee you, the majority, overwhelming majority of people here are likeminded as us.

I see a lot of people describing CS gas, pepper spray, rubber bullets, flash-bangs, etc as "non-lethal." They aren't. They're "less lethal" but they are still deadly force being applied against peaceful protesters.

And we're seeing that with massive amounts of very serious injuries and tons of people going blind because pigs are aiming for headshots, etc
