Private police are hired in rich areas while poor ones can't afford it. Life goes on for these areas, but they'll make a show of support on social media for the downtrodden. 3. People of the Ball throw a fit over policing being asymmetrical once crime has its inevitable initial spike. 4. Community organizers literally rebuild the police department with lip service focus on community outreach and a more civic focus on police work. 5. Political hopefuls use the whole thing to score points and get votes. 6. The cycle resets because no laws were actually repealed and government theft still exists. 7. Rinse and repeat in 30 years. Oh: I forgot to add the step where the community watch groups that will rise up after the disbandment have their inevitable period of graft and corruption the likes of which will make Al Sharpton look like a saint.

So i just read through the justice in policing act and only two things i have an issue with are A) only MARKED cars require a dash cam, which they'll just try to find a loop hole with ghost lettering, and 2) It doesn't outright ban No Knock Raids, only makes it illegal for use in drug interdiction. Says nothing about being used on red flags

My country for instance uses "marked cars" with ghost lettering, so you can't tell its a cop car until he lights you up, which makes them technically unmarked. they claim to use them for DUI's but i see the fuckers on 495 all the time.
