I’ve been developing a course of action for the situation that has developed. I, as well as others, have decided that it would be in everyone’s best interest to simply appeal to the case with a lawyer.

Which means tomorrow, all of you need to attempt to convince our man in danger that he needs a lawyer, and help him find one.

We are hereby dropping any plans of a QRF.

This ensures everyone’s safety. It is likely that the case can be disputed in court in favor of our man.

So please, by all means, discuss means by which he can go about this in court. Once we have settled on a viable option, we will review that option and then go forward with the plan to get him a lawyer.

Idk why no qrf. The guy is probably the most legally legit person I've seen in a sticky situation like this. Keep in mind for him to even have the CC permit and FOID means he had to have gone thru extensive background checks and paid for all that and done classes to carry. Illinois is very strict with that shit.

If he himself without coercion or suggestion has decided to seek legal counsel then there's nothing anyone can do. That's his decision to make and that's fine. But from what I'm reading here is that he has not made this decision on his own(or at all still haven't received confirmation on that) but that it is being heavily suggested to him.

I havent been that active this weekend so I cant speak to everything that's been going on. While this is a great platform to get us together, this is the second time a response has been "cancelled" this weekend for safety.

I'm not speaking to the validity of mobilization or calling it off. Again, I havent been paying enough attention this weekend to make a decision on that. However, as a group there has been a decision to solely rally behind one person using their judgement on rather to roll or not.
