Yeah I dont like evictions but I also respect the idea of private property and all that it entails. Not saying I like what the landlords are doing but it is their property and you have to pay to play so to say. And many landlords I have met over the years weren't necessarily rich either and renting out property they owned sometimes didn't make them rich it just basically paid the mortgage on the property that was being rented

Now the big corporations that rent housing they dont run on a thin margin and should be giving honest people a break

I try to look at it from my own perspective. If someone is using my resources in an agreed upon transaction (housing/shelter), I still deserve my share of the agreement. Being a landlord doesn't always mean you have the ability to be financially "nice" and wave fees, but it would be messed up to demand it from people anyways.

Yeah the relationship between owner and operator can be a tough thing to navigate

My opinion is at the end of the day private property rights are essential to a free society. The ability to say this is mine and you cant take it is important
