You'd be suprised how long an Abrams will just sit at idle with only the essential systems being powered

They have a secondary generator for all of the systems like turret control, comms, and optics, the engine can be shut off while those stay powered

So keep a distance of 1.2 miles at All times. Make them come after you slowly. Only take like five steps and reengage at maximum distance
