Honestly lpvo's are great for 0-600 yards but red dots and magnifiers are better for 0-300 yards. Unless you're routinely shooting out that far, or have an area where it's reasonable that you might shoot that far, I'd suggest a red dot and magnifier.

I dont think paying extra for 223wylde would be worth it unless you are an absolutely amazing shot and are shooting from a totally supported bench rest. just get 5.56 unless the wylde barrel costs the same.
