I run surefire, my bro runs streamlight
Message permalink: 723403924534591541
Actually I run surefire on my rifle and streamlight on my pistol lol
Message permalink: 723409714368610325
I currently have Streamlight on both, and two Streamlight pocket lights.
Message permalink: 723413674253090908
I like Streamlight... lol
Message permalink: 723413693811130379
What streamlight for yâalls handguns? Looking at something for the g19 also
Message permalink: 723414551751557161
Message permalink: 723420225713864755
I run a G19 too
Message permalink: 723420244432912477
This is the best light, itâs like the one thing my bro and I agree on đ
Message permalink: 723420324796039238
Can go solid or strobe solid on / off and pressure on / off
Message permalink: 723420437647982592
All operated from the left thumb
Message permalink: 723420560968777839
Thereâs reportedly some sort of issue with some of the Streamlight rifle lights involving the cables, but the pistol lights are solid.
Message permalink: 723482983893303307
Lol Iâll tell my bro
Message permalink: 723486843215151124
My rifle light is SF
Message permalink: 723486858964762685
whatâs the issue though?
Message permalink: 723486882146811914
I think he means the pressure pads they come with
Message permalink: 723500740718624798
I havenât had any problems with my 1000 lumen streamlight on my AR. But I prefer to use my thumb on the tail cap instead of a pressure pad for my white light because hate wires
Message permalink: 723501153454784563
I feel that, I absolutely prefer the pads
Message permalink: 723504991855444038
> Surefire still tends to be top dog I guess, but Streamlight is one of my favorites. @Sparrow >not mentioning modlite
Message permalink: 723506606024687687
I guess modlight is relatively new to the scene
Message permalink: 723508274091130900
Also with pistols, there's really only two choices they make holsters for. Streamlight TLR1 and Surefire x300u

Not sure where else to post this, but I Just wanted to give a shout out to shocktec. They are a gel padding company, and so far I am really happy with them. I used their lightweight gel to make some trauma pads to run behind my plate carrier. I'm going to make some insoles, and knee pad inserts with what material I have left. I talked to the owner last week, he's cool as fuck, hooked me up with some of their higher grade gel as free samples. It's pretty dope, lots of testing data posted on their website showing how effective it is for absorbing blunt trauma. I know the company has some millitary contracts as well. Check them out if you wanted some good trauma padding.

@DirtyBird streamlights are solid homie
Message permalink: 723544749524648038
they may not be able to get literally run over and survive like a surefire but for $115 you get a well-built rifle light. Pro-Tac X is the one i've got
Message permalink: 723544998284361779
Fixed the issue with my Safariland.
Message permalink: 723580555043668028
Also, anyone have experience with olight? Been seeing them a lot lately
Message permalink: 723580639126880308
Ew
Message permalink: 723583197111124048
Olight, more like garbolight. The electronics are poorly made and don't stand up to any amount of serious use.
Message permalink: 723588941718224956
Surefire FTW... streamlight if you can't afford surefire.
Message permalink: 723589597514432512
Has anyone else seen the video of the Bundeswier doing room clearing drills and the dude gets his G36 stuck in a door frame?

I just got muted on a ar Facebook page for recommending solgw đ€Šââïž

Message permalink: 723595997342597141
Someone asked for website recommendations for parts. I listed 4 of them and got muted

Rainier, primaryarms, solgw and someone else haha
Message permalink: 723596335990964314
I donât care. Maybe that means more shit will stay in stock haha
Message permalink: 723596399979004024
I left fcd out so maybe I can actually find something
Message permalink: 723596483076554812
Meh, I get kicked out of gun groups on a regular basis. Lol. Most of them are idiots.
Message permalink: 723599432754397295
I was curious @Crye Salesman I know basically nothing about glocks, but I'm wanting to put one together. My thought was just an x300u, sro, and maybe a striker control device since I've seen a few people who I trust on other firearm stuff recommend them. Are things like aftermarket slides and stippling worth it or is it better stock?
Message permalink: 723599992861884507
How much cheaper is the sro than the rmr? Iâve heard itâs great but not as durable
Message permalink: 723607118212759552
All I know is you canât mount the SRO on an ACOG with a fiber optic
Message permalink: 723610163252166727
I would go rmr over Sro for a duty gun
Message permalink: 723616750209335376
Stippling is awesome.
Message permalink: 723616794639597628
Maybe a minus connector
Message permalink: 723616815091286016
Thatâs about it IMO
Message permalink: 723616849765597335
Interesting. Is the sro just not durable? All I've ever heard is that it's easier to acquire a dot with. With rmr, battery vs dual? I like the idea of it always being on and at the right brightness but idk what the drawbacks are
Message permalink: 723617515598774332
I like the dual illumination on my accupoint but idk if that's comparable
Message permalink: 723617744800448583
Also weighing the pros and cons of different models. The light has me thinking about the g34
Message permalink: 723620445076848682
SRO is substantially more fragile than the RMR. Battery operated. Dual illuminated doesnât work for EDC
Message permalink: 723621648573530163
34 gang
Message permalink: 723621671428292831
The x300 just looks right on a 34 from the pictures I've seen. The length matches up nicely
Message permalink: 723621856304824390
Ah holy shit the 34 is way more expensive
Message permalink: 723623259685519400
Is it supposed to be 750+ or are people hiking up the prices due to panic?
Message permalink: 723623514090897508
Also does gen matter that much? I know little improvements are made but is it worth another couple hundred
Message permalink: 723626707952599081
The 34 is basically the same size as the 19x isnât it?
Message permalink: 723626832372564119
It's a 17 frame with a slide as long as a 17 with a light on it

Big iron
Message permalink: 723626985758392392
Message permalink: 723627154272813207
But yeah, seems expensive
Message permalink: 723627716519395400
Gen 5 changed quite a lot over gen 4
Message permalink: 723628264261812367
Did some reading and it sounds like people really like the g34 for competition. The added weight apparently makes it really smooth shooting
Message permalink: 723628706983313418
They all say they feel like they're shooting slower but the shot timer says they're shooting faster
Message permalink: 723628856623366145
I have something special

just a pic from their website
Message permalink: 723639137332363265
why would anyone choose a mule stock over a holster?
Message permalink: 723639293591158945
that's like a really good way of getting clapped when grabbing your secondary
Message permalink: 723639420632170629
So if you lose your rifle you also lose your sidearm? Makes sense...
Message permalink: 723639538932776992
I'm assuming it's more for people that have very limited storage space more than anything, kind of a dumb gimic all the same
Message permalink: 723639600207233106
but like
Message permalink: 723639625385639998
Thereâs always space
Message permalink: 723639657891627068
you can strap a holster to your leg
Message permalink: 723639672001134632
or anywhere
Message permalink: 723639693576634408
and it would be a much easier access then that thing

Or be a clown and strap it to your chest
