Slickster is lame, other than that it’s relatively cheap and well made

Pros- hold a lot of rounds Cons- Hard to store, a bitch and a half to load, more likely to fail/jam, expensive, more unweildy and harder to manipulate

I am trying to decide between a pc and a chest rig. This is just the start of a kit so I will want to build on it but I’m stuck with all the options

I’ve heard pretty much all drums are jam machines

Each has amazing uses for different ops

Yeah, some people prefer that. So that way if they don't need armor, they can just run a rig

The D60 is what failed on me.

Ultimately I will get both but I’m spending a bunch on a few carbine classes so I can’t do both to start

I'd get one or two drums, and focus the rest on mags

But... start with 30 rounders.

I run MUM-14s

WAY better than PVS-14s

I had 14s in service, so I learned to hate them. And bought 7s, and now wish I would have just held off, lol

Shit ton crisper, and gets upwards for 40 hours battery life on a single CR123

Belt has velcro on the inside, and attach it to the inner belt that has velcro on the outside.

Keeps it snug in place.

I can’t run dualbelt systems anymore, but I did at one point

But I decided on the larger padded one because I run my belt heavy

One of the first things I learned from our instructor cadre was the lead instructor taught us, fight from here (PC) and survive from here (belt)

So my PC, is pretty much just armor and rifle ammo

Belt is multitool, knife, pistol, pistol mags, TQ, and IFAC

I just kept an emergency mag on the belt is all. But that's a good way to look at it and build your kit.

But everybody is taught to operate differently

I'll have to keep that in mind. I'm rebuilding my kit from the ground up.

No, mine was just the belt. Not sure where to get inner belts. But worse comes to worse, you can make one.

I sold my PC last weekend, so I'm starting fresh, lol.

I got several belts that dual purpose for inner and outer that I don’t use
