Technically he bought them but instead of making them into slaves he made them indentured servants. Which is a better life than a different owner. (But I’m not glorifying any slave owners) Andrew Jackson won the the battle of NOLA in the war of 1812 I believe

I don’t support slavery but if we erase all the history about it we’ll never learn from the mistakes made

And I tend to disagree with that but, I see why you say that

Andrew jackson was a president of the United States. That's all of our history. Like it or not. Wrong or right.

I can see the arguement for taking down confederate statues and sticking them in museums but US presidents? Nah.

But you see why natives tend to not like the dude?

This is what foreign enemies do. They tear down monuments memorials statues to demoralize the native people.

But no ones talking about the fact they vandalized a Purple Heart monument

You can see him balantly holding a taser and running in the film

i dont believe deadly force was justified

especially since there were 2 officers on the scene

They're taught to de escalate. This guy was running. Back turned. Holding a taser. These cops murdered that man.
