My dad would probably know. He and his best friend, who was even more of a knife guy, would go around to gun shows back in the day and buy up rare knives that the dealers didn't know about and had underpriced

I went through their knives after they died, looking up every one to see what they were worth. We sold his collection and gave all the money to his widowed wife to set her up for a while. I don't remember seeing anything hogue in there.
