Roll pins are the fucking bane of my existence

There's one that's used for my safety selector. I got one in, and the other is almost through but just stopped completely

I have a noveske and a bad safety selector and didn’t have issues

I'm using a forward controls design safety. If I manage to get the roll pin in, it'll be bombproof

Had to get to my second job though. I'll take a look at it when I get home. The roll pin might be damaged

I think what I'll do is remove the pin, get a spare, pinch the tip slightly, and dip it in aeroshell

Are Magpul irons any good? My cousin bought a front/rear set of MBUS as his only way of aiming.

Cool thing about the safety selectors is that the selector acts as a pin starter, it's just the middle part that the pin has to drive through

What parts are you needing recommendations on?

Hell, I made a damn good rifle build that comes out to around 1400 if you're interested. Unless you're looking for cheaper.

@DirtyBird ambi safety, ambi mag release, bolt catch. I think I'm going with FCD detents, springs and pins. High end stuff, but those parts don't break the bank.

Fcd for the price is actually really not bad. It’s not cheap but they are drastically above most other stuff that is in the same price range

If you're building your own, I'd probably go with Aero.

Aero receivers are gtg I havent tried any other parts from them

My Pistol is a PSA, gross I know, lol.

But it was the easiest to get at the time.

And I put upgrades in it.

The only thing is the upper and hand guard are proprietary. So I would have to change upper receiver if I changed handguard

There is nothing wrong with psa if you know how to upgrade it and check tolerances... you just have to know that their qc sucks and you have to look over everything

Depends on what you want to do, both have their quirks

.338 Holds more energy as well, it's a slightly larger round with more powder behind it.

300wm is a pretty ancient round that happens to have good ballistics

The 338 Lapua shoots larger diameter and heavier bullets that are generally more aerodynamic than the bullets the 300 Win Mag uses. The two cartridges have a similar trajectory at normal hunting ranges, but typical 338 Lapua loads have 30-40% more muzzle energy. The 338 Lapua has nearly twice as much recoil energy though.
