I kinda want to see that ngl
Message permalink: 722167952727867463
I'd imagine it would be for some fugly AR15 bullpup someone cludged together
Message permalink: 722168130046263306
Either that or just some Fudd who thinks putting pressure on the barrel is no big deal.
Message permalink: 722177794041446430
But is scared to dry-fire their weapon still.
Message permalink: 722177834449240140
I know them make pic rail for it
Message permalink: 722187107799662593
Probably the same guy who wanted to print this off
Message permalink: 722188678943998073
Other than the front half being hideous. I'm okay with the idea of a bullpup AR
Message permalink: 722188936574795826
But alas, that is ugly AF
Message permalink: 722188978312183869
Wait till dudes start bullpupping the MPX and MCX
Message permalink: 722189773334380632
Have you not seen the abortion that is the bullpup scorpion evo kits
Message permalink: 722189909686878389
Dear lord
Message permalink: 722190134795042858
how did they make the f2k even uglier?
Message permalink: 722190313480912907
I think that’s the ugliest modern production gun currently
Message permalink: 722191001053036574
Hmmmm
Message permalink: 722191210269376602
I dunno, this one is close

UwU Jericho is cursed
Message permalink: 722193525114011779
this disgusts me on multiple levels, but the main amount of disgust comes from it being something made by IWI
Message permalink: 722193579736563762
Why does that Jericho look like it has pleather on it
Message permalink: 722193837618888814
I just learned that Travis Haley is CEO if Magpul.... the fuck.
Message permalink: 722199056662921287
Didn't he give specs for BCM's Jack Carbine
Message permalink: 722199279648637040
Yes.
Message permalink: 722199372854722580
The Jack was designed by him.
Message permalink: 722199431079919658
That explains why they used magpul furniture on it
Message permalink: 722199537623760926
So that means he is deeply involved with at least three companies.
Message permalink: 722199598088585306
Magpul, Haley Strategic, and BCM.
Message permalink: 722199630816740080
This guy.

🤑 🤑 🤑 🤑
Message permalink: 722199701809660025
Him honestly
Message permalink: 722199715596337162
But they're all pretty based companies though
Message permalink: 722199784839970900
I know where he got his money for starting his company though, lol
Message permalink: 722199900720332861
I thought travis left magpul
Message permalink: 722212098456944681
Yeah he left around 2011
Message permalink: 722212477043081236
Just reminds me of a great tragedy in the gun industry. Travis Haley and others invented the masada and sold it to freedom group, which turned a great gun into a steaming pile of shit, the ACR
Message permalink: 722212907789582376
That's a tragedy that the name went from Masada to ACR
Message permalink: 722216580938727534
I think the MCX is more *masada* than the ACR is
Message permalink: 722217660539994166
What did the ACR get right?
Message permalink: 722222388984414209
The stock. Kinda the handguard. The barrels where more interchangeable than a typical ar, but still not the way the Masada was spec’d to be
Message permalink: 722223656784363541
So the only part that's widely available and used on other guns, the stock, was right
Message permalink: 722223930634534926
I mean the lower *looks* right, but the Masada was much more about the engineering than the exterior aesthetics
Message permalink: 722224256490012702
There is a 7.62 Masada-esque precision rifle being developed
Message permalink: 722224368792502312
Travis himself said he hated the thing that freedom group turned his gun into
Message permalink: 722224469036236850
So what I'm hearing is get the original spec sheets and hand make copies
Message permalink: 722224654512816230
Of the good one
Message permalink: 722224700394045491
Marvin Pitts does work on them and make them better, but at that point there’s better options for the money
Message permalink: 722224976773775410
Seems like a discount scar, so get an ar instead
Message permalink: 722225146991214592
See, you're over looking my incredibly niche area of collecting, which is the strange but functional modern arms that get lost in the sea of designs
Message permalink: 722225402965262367
I think in the 11-20”, 5.56 rifle, there isn’t any competition to good AR’s
Message permalink: 722225497496354949
Message permalink: 722228257038008403
Got my buffer in. Had to look it up when I noticed it didn't rattle, apparently a5 buffers have a spring inside instead of letting weights freely slide
Message permalink: 722234844242771978
oh really? thats kinda nice
Message permalink: 722235094521085962
So, is that buffer retaining knob thing really needed because mine just entered low earth orbit
Message permalink: 722235265523122226
Lol it'll do that
Message permalink: 722235407932325918
Do I need to ask Elon to return it or can I just shove the the gun back together?
Message permalink: 722235769330073650
Yeah you'll need that part
Message permalink: 722235907008102421
I mean like if the world ends rn the gun will run without it, but you should order a new one ASAP
Message permalink: 722236319086149703
Okay, now about the spring, how long is it supposed to be
Message permalink: 722236999985004595
a lot of manufacturers and gun shops sell oops kits. Basically a few springs and detents commonly lost. You should try to find it if you can though
Message permalink: 722238092441944126
We've all had that happen. One time I brought my AR to the gunshop to have them look at something and one of the springs flew half way across the shop and it was a *big* shop

That all wood fixed fsp baby
Message permalink: 722246774580052039
The a5 buffer is pretty tight in the geissele braided rifle spring. Presses to fit perfectly. I don't know if this will affect things, typically buffers seem to be a bit more loose than this.

I... I want it... but so expensive.

Message permalink: 722263637762244639
When I finish this thing, I guess I'll have to rattle can it. Part of me almost hurts to but it's a tool. Just maybe a very expensive one. Gonna take it to the first class I can.
Message permalink: 722275641445056513
Hmm looks like Geissele doesn't sell all their lower parts individually, only some.
Message permalink: 722290362378616852
Honestly, buy a whole LPK and save the time trying to get a good deal on each part
Message permalink: 722291809447051277
I was trying to avoid replacing parts in a full LPK.
Message permalink: 722292062518640690
Get a quality one and it won't matter, don't get super hung up on a grip or trigger
Message permalink: 722292540929474611
I can send you a link to my mega budget DMR if you want to compare to some cheap shit
Message permalink: 722292688048619562
Sure
Message permalink: 722292790976970833
I'm like 99% decided on getting BCM's ambi safety, but there was something about their full LPK I disliked. I forget what.

the trigger is the worst part of the bcm
Message permalink: 722293524900478986
and its a great trigger
Message permalink: 722293543502217266
I'll admit my version of that rifle is about 100 bucks cheaper since I already have a lower and other bits
Message permalink: 722293896629059585
Stripped lower is the only part I already have at the moment.
Message permalink: 722294114854371408
Warning though, if you get that barrel get the one from Faxon in .223 Wylde instead of 556, it's worth it in the long run
Message permalink: 722294548818034709
Oof, $1600 being "mega budget", lol. I wish gunstruction would let me export to like a spreadsheet so it's easier to view all the parts.
Message permalink: 722297320838004737
I can give you a parts list from memory if you want it As for mega budget, as cheap as I'll trust my life to
Message permalink: 722297930995990548
I got the s&w M&P for my first ar, along with other essentials. Spend $550 to have something immediately that will still go bang(never had a malfunction, probably 3-4k rounds) then upgrade the parts as you get the cash to make it top end and exactly how you want it
