Message permalink: 722632060640166028

Message permalink: 722632115363250178
The SL8 is a G36 made for US import in the 90s
Message permalink: 722632184774524978
Mines the SL8-4 which came with double stack mags
Message permalink: 722632293679890512
I am not big in to historic firearms
Message permalink: 722632427427594361
Maybe the sg553
Message permalink: 722632455311458314
But g36 mags are a pain in the ass to track down so I swapped out the magwell for one that accepts AR15 mags
Message permalink: 722632476656402502
And i own a ptr91
Message permalink: 722632605899685951

One Rifle layout, one Carbine layout, and one PDW layout
Message permalink: 722633463093526648
Sick
Message permalink: 722633761933492324
G36 usually go for 8 grand the HK SL8-4 goes for 1800
Message permalink: 722634655836274689
Yeah the g36 is available in Canada but are rare and cost like 8 grand
Message permalink: 722634657522516019
the guy i know in canada has 2 of them
Message permalink: 722635801195708417
he also has like 60 milsurp guns some really nice ones like a luger
Message permalink: 722635881466429522
he was using his luger to dip mcnuggets in to
Message permalink: 722635970255519765
Message permalink: 722636028594356274
I know that fuck with the guns in canada, he cums on some of them, like as a form of sexual satisfaction, it's disgusting
Message permalink: 722636213084880958

Message permalink: 722636535081730140
Not the one i know
Message permalink: 722636617310928906
Are there two canadians that dip their Mcnuggets in their luger filled with honey mustard?
Message permalink: 722636672751239240
I hope not
Message permalink: 722636687322251364

Message permalink: 722636903026786315

Message permalink: 722637062674841701
Oh god
Message permalink: 722637078432841789
I'd never do that to my guns that's for sure
Message permalink: 722637108606664704
I mean he cleans them, but it's still nasty
Message permalink: 722637198926544968

Can hollowpoint fail to expand at high enough velocities? Having trouble with overpenetrating .22lr hollowpoint, it's going straight through rodent skulls and not doing what it should be...
Message permalink: 722642416280272949
I have seen ballistic gel tests of shooting through basic things like drywall with studs and car glass and seen hollow points fail to expand
Message permalink: 722643916385550347
But not caused by high velocity
Message permalink: 722644044760481843
Id be careful with showing your face
Message permalink: 722644723084296254
Been on the news at rallies so I'm not afraid of that to be honest. I follow the law and have nothing illegal going on. I'm just here to talk about guns and politics and history lol I get your concern though
Message permalink: 722654224818765824
@UrbanNinja_ at standard velocity a .22lr hollow point doesnt expand unless it hits something substantial. Your better off shooting round nose

How are the vortex magnifiers compared to the eotech? Or should I just get rid of my eotech and go back to a LPVO
Message permalink: 722790183795163136
I wouldn’t consider them duty grade
Message permalink: 722790368600391702
The vortex?
Message permalink: 722790444395921408
Yea nah wouldn’t think so
Message permalink: 722790490117898240
Yes. And the new eotech magnifiers are substantially cheaper than they used to be
Message permalink: 722790512519544862
Yea I haven’t ever bothered getting one. But I’m liking my newest lwrc setup with my old ass XPS 2. I have a 1-6 strike eagle on my IC-A2 but that thing never sees daylight
Message permalink: 722790892930596964
I've got a vortex flip magnifier and there's one really big thing I don't like about it. There's no room under it to put a backup sight, unlike magnifiers using a larue mount and eotech mounts. Of course you could just use an offset red dot as your backup but the option should be there.
Message permalink: 722793593567314001
I have the eotech magnifier and the vortex magnifier
Message permalink: 722794930078089238
For sale?
Message permalink: 722795195363491860
I like the eotech more because I don’t have to press a button to move it to the side. Glass is better on the eotech. But I honestly don’t have any complaints about the vortex magnifier since it’s a good budget
Message permalink: 722795296072925195
Yea not worried about budget really but if I can’t fit buis under the vortex the eotech it is
Message permalink: 722795618829074522
I have t had it on my AR in a while I can’t remember if my BUIS sight fit under it. I know I had my irons on still tho
Message permalink: 722795935725256704
Actually
Message permalink: 722796089069142037
It dose
Message permalink: 722796098774892645
Old photo
Message permalink: 722796491902550126
@TacticalBeard you're not pointing it at your dick like a moron? How dare you
Message permalink: 722796600749064214
Lol
Message permalink: 722796692449132629
Neat setup though
Message permalink: 722796821692285018
Yea I liked the MRO it’s my favorite pure red dot but I have an astigmatism. So I traded it for a gentex( opscore) high cut helmet
Message permalink: 722797013128839229
I have astigmatism also.. because I'm poor I planned to start with irons and get optics later though.
Message permalink: 722797251021242438
Everyone’s eyes are different. I find my eyes like the 1MOA dots on the eotechs better than a traditional red dot
Message permalink: 722797446752632943
I don't mean to derail the topic, but what are peoples' opinions on ambi bolt catches?
Message permalink: 722797836621709352
I ddt know they were a thing
Message permalink: 722797997569605745
But in the future with your astigmatism primary arms makes some really nice prisms and LVPOs for low cost
Message permalink: 722798217909239815
I'm dead set on getting an ambi safety switch and ambi charging handle. Like 95% sure I'll get an ambi mag release. Completely unsure about the bolt catch.
Message permalink: 722801155373269053
Ambi bolt catch/release will be used way more than mag release.
Message permalink: 722811661110739085
Buy companies that have them from the factory. One reason why I buy lwrc
Message permalink: 722811920532373535
Apparently you need a lower receiver milled to accept an ambi bolt catch? Unless you get a BAD Lever by Magpul.
Message permalink: 722812011259625652
Going to pay a lot more for them ambi controls though
Message permalink: 722812061184426014
Yup
Message permalink: 722812121330483252
Which I’ve heard good and bad reviews on.
Message permalink: 722812176800415783
Technically I could mill it to take an ambi bolt catch since I'm doing 80% lowers anyway. Just would need to know exactly what additional material to mill out.
Message permalink: 722812416529793094
What jig do you have
Message permalink: 722812533676966001
Don't have one yet. I wanted a router jig like the 5D, Easy Jig or Modulus Arms, but they're all backordered a minimum of 4 weeks. Plus it needs to wait for my $1200 stimulus to arrive.
Message permalink: 722812743559938189
Don’t get a bad lever
Message permalink: 722813659138621511
Yea get the 5d Tactical but either way I don’t know if they have slots for ambi controls
Message permalink: 722813705225764865
@Crye Salesman I didn't plan on it anyway because in the pictures it would block an ambi mag release.
Message permalink: 722813794778087464
The bolt release is not meant to do that, it causes malfunctions
Message permalink: 722813859513106472
Just buy a rifle with ambi controls
Message permalink: 722813870363902055
^
Message permalink: 722813899379834909
Take that 1200 and get something good
Message permalink: 722814008654037105
Then I'll have to wait for my AR license I suppose if I go that route.
Message permalink: 722814131853459556
Ar license?
Message permalink: 722814395616591955
Minnesota law for buying assault weapons and handguns from stores. Building and private sales remain unregulated for now.

Message permalink: 722814491854635018
Well how long does that take
Message permalink: 722814628819763242
Wait so you can buy off armslist but can’t in a store?
Message permalink: 722814750966153226
A maximum of 30 days if the sheriff approves.
Message permalink: 722814772365623357
The bad lever is a piece of shit. It even says so in the name, bad
