Depending on the scenario, exposing your capabilities makes you a target. If you're out on recon, or grabbing milk at the store, you don't want to stand out. If you're making a show of force with 30 others, then throwing your second line gear on top and standing out will make you more effective.

It's literally an airsoft larp helmet, it was a big hullabaloo in the AS world a few months back when the manufacturers tried to claim all sorts of specs.

They're really simple and there's nothing wrong with that. You don't have to worry about fiddling with anything. Only real issue is the eye relief.

The Anderson finally died, firing pin retention pin broke and the firing pin dislodged and the bolt is now stuck forward

The only parts I've had issues with consistantly are the take down pins and the extensions on the upper they go through, always wobbly even though I damn near have to hammer them in

The pins are to spec, and the pin holes are too, I think the extensions off the upper are a tiny bit too narrow

Because of the materials used in the upper and lower, structural integrity is probably okay but the tolerances are so bad, and stack on top of each other, that they can cause issues which lead to catastrophic failure

Anyone have any experience with the romeo 1 reflex mounted on a sig p320? Thinking about buying one for my p320-m18.

I’ve got like, 100 rounds on one that was on a 229. I would get a more proven optic personally, I think even the newer holosuns have a better track record

It's looking like its basically impossible to get ahold of a Hodge receiver set. People out there have tried for years, even calling in before a shipment drops, and still can't get them. So I'm looking at a few other brands for receivers, the goal being a fuck you rifle build. (likely gonna give my 11.5 to my fiance to learn with since it's relatively light and small, and very smooth shooting.) So for receiver sets at the moment, I've been looking at forged, and two on the list are Zev and Noveske. Neither of which I have experience with but Zev makes Hodge receivers to their spec and seem to be known for tolerances so tight that it'll hold a barreled upper without pins. Noveske is Noveske, already known for quality. Can't really get stripped KAC uppers and I have my own barrel to use.

Could do billet as well but I'm still researching the pros/cons of that.

It's either a rifle buffer or it's a very long and distended carbine buffer, I'm leaning towards rifle since the gun is a stiff bitch to charge and recoils, differently

@Confused Gen III noveskes are some of my favorite rifles/receivers.

Although it should be noted GenIII Noveskes are SMOS receivers, and Gen4 are Q.

Same listed tolerance of critical parts as the hodge receiver

then the video shows differences between the noveske and zev forged receiver sets

Zev is a bit cheaper than the noveske too innit

They're cheaper but appear to have tighter tolerances, or oversized components

something the hodge receivers are known for as well
