But of you suck with irons and say that fancy optic has broken or suffered some sort of failure you can be up shits creek if facing off against people who are excellent shooters with just irons

@BugsyBaldwin things that are not real - that
Irons break too.
Going from some quick specs and reviews, I'd lean towards the rmr due to the smaller size, larger window, and better battery life. Apparently a lot of people have been seeing the acro run out of battery in days instead of months or years
I'd be half tempted to stick a dual illumination rmr on my rifle, though the smallest dot is 7moa. Not sure how I feel about that as I've never ran a reticle that big before
But you can almost follow the projectile with your eye all the way to the target lol I used to shoot them out of a cheap little 22 revolver and a single shot youth 22 for shits and giggles
Slapped it on and honestly I kinda dig it. Only potential issue is that I think the turret cap and flashlight might get in the way of an offset red dot
I have two rifles. One is the trophy wife that shoots sub moa and has a carbon fiber handguard. The one shown in the picture is the kinky bitch who shoots 1moa and can be slapped around without hurting it
I’ve ran offset T1’s and RMR’s, and RMR’s on top of my primary optic. Just kinda depends what you’re doing. Dot size isn’t thattt important, you can be accurate with the fat dot, it’s just more annoying
Dual illuminated RMR’s are conceptually super cool, I have one on a backup pistol that stays hidden away in a pelican case, since it doesn’t take batteries. But on guns that get used frequently, they have shortfalls with lighting conditions
Funny enough, the 458 socom round was supposedly invented because they had difficulty putting down drugged up people in Somalia. They were thin as rails but wouldn't stop moving even after taking multiple hits because they were so far gone.
They essentially created a lipstick can of a round that has the same muzzle energy as 7.62x51 but fires from a standard m4 magazine. Forget ballistic coefficient or long range. If someone's within around 150 yards, they're having a giant hole put in them.
Dear fucking lord my dad did a dumb.
So he's got this shitty bushmaster ar with a front sight post gas block that's crooked because the gas port is off center. His solution? Dremel part of the barrel extension pin so he can rotate the barrel in the receiver and align the sight post.
No I mean the gas port on the barrel isn't aligned with the barrel extension pin at the 12 oclock position. It's slightly off, and because it used a gas block with a permanent front sight post, it's not aligned with the upper
So I gave him a spare low profile gas block so he could ditch the shitty front sight and put an mlok handguard he bought on there. He doesn't want to ditch the rifle for something serviceable despite the fact that he makes in one hour what I make in a day
@littlebitt08 sorry for kate response. Had work stuff going on. But basically just EDC and home defense. I've been looking at fort Scott munitions but didnt know if there was something better. I'm running a cz p10f.
