I have been into medieval martial arts for years now and dabbled in making my own weapons and shields and even armour

C is around where serviceable is, though I'd argue spikes should be up there on C depending on the components

Tolerances, material quality, and qc

And actually being *designed* not just slapped together

Building things to an actual spec

The super high end stuff you're paying for the tight tolerances and extensive qc. Middle of the road stuff has tolerances that won't cause your rifle to fail and don't make it out of the factory with defects

Some companies you’re also paying for the R&D of enhancements

I have two major and one minor thing when it comes to firearms. I'm poor so i buy parts one at a time. I have very specific requirements for every build. And I just enjoy assembling them

Never hunted with a bow before but I do enjoy shooting. I've been in competition before though I didn't place

Used a 40 pound longbow that I made from scratch. Everyone else there was confused as to how I aimed

Instinct shooting is a real thing, I’ve known a couple people that shot bow that way

Mora is alright. Good yet cheap carbon steel, the blade is thicker than I like and it doesn't have a full tang so it's not as durable as better knives out there

More learned shooting. You figure out how to aim a bow with no sights or arrow shelf with enough practice

Yeah, I don’t own any moras, they’re not my cup of tea, the design just never appealed to me. I like Buck’s offerings in that price range.

So I've been messing around with a SeeAll sight and it's interesting

I just grabbed it 🤷🏽‍♂️ if I don’t like it I’ll just buy another lol
