Holding zero would be the top priority

Accupower and accupoint are rock solid scopes. They'll serve you much better than an acog

Acogs are nice but they're limited. Designed to hand to people who score minimum passing on the asvab. The accupoint is basically a variable acog without the vcog price tag

Plus the accupower / point has a massive range of eye relief while the acog has a tiny box right in front of the charging handle

I like the triangle reticle on my accupoint. It's really simple but effective for short to medium range shooting. No clutter, just a little green arrow that says place bullet here

Only real thing I've noticed about the accupoint that's meh. The objective lens is small, so you don't get as much light through it in the dark as larger optics or red dots

Yeah it's essentially a glorified red dot that has magnification. Put the tip on them at 25, put the whole triangle on them under that, and stick it somewhere on their torso over that. Definitely not precise but good for stuff like 3 gun
