Upper I just ordered. I have flip up irons coming but I’m not sure what optic I want on it. How is the sig romeo5? That’s what my landlord who is a shooting instructor recommended.

@KnightArkane i have this exact upper but with an A2 sight. It’s decent, you have to be careful with rra bcg’s they had some issues a while back with them fracturing under heavy use.

I also have a romeo 5 on it interesting enough. It’s a decent red dot for the price, there are videos of them freezing it solid and it still working.

Ok, so I with the amount of protests going on I've been thinking about how people could protect themselves without having to spend exorbitant amounts of money on actual carriers and combat clothing

With my (don't laugh) cosplay history, I think I may have come up with a potential solution

In the cosplay world, sets can be made out of pretty much anything from foam to even steel if you have enough of the shit. I've been working on a set made out of aluminum for airsoft stuff. If we're not going for authenticity, you could make essentially a protest set out of a wetsuit at some thick rubber for relatively cheap

Not necessarily. Usually Mando armor cosplays consist of a base layer, often a jumpsuit, then a vest on top of that, and then the armor is typically buttoned or hotglued on. The version I'm suggesting would be attached to a wetsuit, which are usually pretty thin.

You can get a full body wetsuit thats 3-5mm thick on Amazon for $69 (nice)

Rubber tips, no.... volitiles and markers yes, but you'd have to change it to not have a market still.
