Not to be cheeky but Taurus pistols aren't serviceable. They have an incredibly high rate of failure, and while I'd say they're only useful for the range, because of their unreliability they could potentially cause serious injury due to housing small explosions as guns do.

Yeah, it was an impulse buy cause cheap gun didn't do much research till after I bought it, and pretty instant regret, I was okay after no FTE or any small malfunction that way, but when it jams up like this during a routine I'm probably just trading it in now lol

Yeah the shop I bought from were kinda recommended taurus as a cheap fairly reliable brand, I only know of their revolvers which are decent quality, so I said hell why not

Like the g2 isn’t the worst gun they make but it’s far from as good as other things at the price point

I went with a ruger ec9 cause they’re actually a serviceable ccw

Eh most serviceable striker fired pistols are similar enough in quality that it's a non issue. Glock always works but the trigger sucks. ppq and vp9 have the best trigger. Vp9 has best ergonomics.

Aftermarket glock gets into a strange place. Some parts when installed correctly are reliable. Most aren't. Best bet is to not touch the internals and just deal with the trigger.

6000+ rounds through my Jericho and not a single issue. Same with my Vz58 probably 8000+ rounds through it even in adverse conditions and never a FTE or FTF or anything

Compared to other striker fired pistols, and definitely hammer fired pistols, glock triggers feel like a staple gun. They work though.

In the end, that's all you really need out of a carry pistol

Just remember, changing internal parts can make a glock's reliability tank. If I were to pick a simple setup to hand to literally anyone with functioning hands, it'd probably be Glock 19 Trijicon RMR Surefire X300U PHLster Spotlight

Haven't shot one myself but I don't see any reason to change the trigger. It should work fine out of the factory, and with something without an external safety that you're going to have pointed at your leg/dick all day, it may just be the safest route to not mess with it. Glock certainly has the largest aftermarket, and there are triggers and other components that are completely reliable if you have someone who knows what they're doing install it, but I'm paranoid.

yeah the p320 is what I would put on my belt when I take some classes so I dont need to mess with it alot

That’s pretty cool. I could have swore I came across a site selling 80% lowers that looked similar to the one above. If I could order one of them and get it engraved, or better yet, get 2 like that, I’d be more than happy. Gonna build a couple of safe fillers cause I sold a lot of my stuff to get my first house/cover closing

I really wouldn't recommend polymer lowers unless it's gwacs or wwsd2020. Other stuff out there isn't designed around the material and tested enough to ensure it'll work

Even aluminum lowers can have problems cracking in certain areas. Polymer is another beast entirely

The jigs that come with poly lowers are usually plastic and designed to be one time use. I'd get a metal jig if you're doing a metal lower.

Figured I could save $100 by buying a jig kit for a polymer lower and a forged lower and finishing it that way. Not likely gonna happen now
