I was looking at that and the lantac too

It's a proprietary design that strengthens a few parts and remains locked longer to open with lower chamber pressures, and vent gas to the side to help mitigate getting gassed with suppressor usage.
Message permalink: 721607627636736040
I've been keeping an eye on it for several weeks and it's been out of stock

I should have bought more when it was 30 cpr
Message permalink: 721607969036566548
Oh it also has cuts in the carrier that helps it remove sand, and decreases the contact surface between the carrier and the upper
Message permalink: 721608433438294027
It does require more gas to operate, which is usually fine as most ar's are overgassed
Message permalink: 721608903485423677
But finely tuned gucci stuff may have issues
Message permalink: 721608983395303484
I was going to go with an adjustable gas block anyway
Message permalink: 721609133253591080
so hopefully that could fix such an issue
Message permalink: 721609169169285212
Yeah it should
Message permalink: 721609294260207656
Adjustable gas block and standard weight vltor a5 buffer system 👌 At least from what I've heard lol

im still undecided what im going to put on my 11.5
Message permalink: 721611193487196180
Lol I guess it's usually a good rule of thumb to spend as much on glass as the rifle it's going on
Message permalink: 721611209220292649
oh yeah for sure
Message permalink: 721611246734016524
I still dont know what ill put on my 11.5
Message permalink: 721611773605838898
Most likely a Trij or aimpoint
Message permalink: 721611808921878548
leaning to trijicon
Message permalink: 721611884545179650
@Confused why an lpvo and aimpoint?
Message permalink: 721731129073205359
Google sheets has an option to use checkboxes. Backup irons can fail too so might as well make the backup something good. Also the lpvo can be kept somewhere around 3x or higher while the aimpoint is used for close up shots
Message permalink: 721743190008528937
With most flip up irons, if you drop the gun directly on them while open, they have a decent chance of failing. Even some of the good ones like the rear ARMS sight. Some are better than others, but at that point you might as go with something more useful.
Message permalink: 721745944592253029
*when the thing literally full of glass is more reliable than the foldy steel thing*
Message permalink: 721746197039022092
Even backup kac's will have a point of impact shift if you drop them. Funny enough this is where plastic excels, but magpul backup sights have other issues so i can't recommend them
Message permalink: 721748321391214673
I have the same problem. I have to research almost everything before buying and usually end up buying nothing
Message permalink: 721751021906428026
Can't go wrong with magpul mags
Message permalink: 721751841016250458
You guys know any thing about knives
Message permalink: 721752055521345587
Regular stanag mags with magpul followers are good too

Not much but I know a little. My dad is more of a knife guy

> You guys know any thing about knives @Mechromansir ESEE, benchmade if you don’t care about politics, Mora

Emerson
Message permalink: 721752339584778331
Mora doesn't have a full tang but they use carbon steel, which is good and easy to sharpen. You just have to take care of it so it doesn't rust
Message permalink: 721752610616639489
Strong vouch for mora as a budget blade
Message permalink: 721752859443462174
If it breaks you can just toss it because they're like 15 bucks on sale or something
Message permalink: 721752962548105298
Theyre like 25 bucks
Message permalink: 721753008559489115
Nah mora is basically disposable
Message permalink: 721753050125041746
Best 25 bucks ive spent on a knife, though
Message permalink: 721753141653012505
Zero tolerance is nice if you want a quality knife that doesn't look out of place with your suit or nicer clothes.
Message permalink: 721753195373658224
Got a link for that knife?@Potatoes O'Reilly
Message permalink: 721753392644358305
Spyderco also makes good folders. Kershaw is ZT's budget brand but still makes decent stuff. Benchmade makes good tactical knives and butterfly knives.
Message permalink: 721753558420029543
There's a particular knife that i really liked, but i forgot the name. My dad has a couple. They were designed by a guy with benchmade at the time who moved over to spyderco, who now makes them, but the benchmade version is more rare
Message permalink: 721754434388099122
I guess its got its appeal, but it just looks too heavy to keep on my person
Message permalink: 721754514058903612
Yeah, different use than what i look for. Thing looks to be built like a tank though
Message permalink: 721755050975821894
Ah the benchmade AFCK

Message permalink: 721755633128571041
Fantastic knife. Pretty big and attention drawing, but wonderful ergonomics and regarded as the best benchmade ever made.

Houge or microtech

>best benchmade ever made >not axis lock Lies
Message permalink: 721756245953871872
I was cutting in to an apple with my grizzly creek and a seed chipped the blade
Message permalink: 721756344838783188
If i had a mocrotech, id probably baby it too much and it would defeat the purpose of a pocketknife tbh

Message permalink: 721756705771356190
So a shop by me has an SVT 40 and I'm upset i don't have the capital to buy it
Message permalink: 721756743042072688
Once you hold an afck, you understand. You don't need an axis lock. You just grab the hole and pull it out of your pocket, then suddenly you have an open knife in your hand that's so ergonomic it feels like it's welded onto you.

You can get it in axis now too
Message permalink: 721758263712022590
Granted the original titanium liner lock was known as the most robust and reliable liner lock ever made
Message permalink: 721758436928389130
But they have bad qc
Message permalink: 721758538334076978
And politics
Message permalink: 721758563650895992
Any way how do you feel about 154cm
Message permalink: 721758681531678760
It seems like a great steel
Message permalink: 721758728243642389
The original was made back in the 90s and definitely had no qc issues. It had one issue, being the designer and benchmade had issues with each other and split
Message permalink: 721759029428486265
Yes but currently benchmade is imo garbage
Message permalink: 721759427081928704
I have a bugout and grizzly creek
Message permalink: 721759477954641950
I should sell them
Message permalink: 721759537261969520
I sold my manix 2
Message permalink: 721759601573232750
Yeah I've got one of their modern axis lock knives and it's no where near the quality of the afck
Message permalink: 721760123827126372
I belive it
Message permalink: 721760175802810368
So do you know anything about houge knives
